Is the brake drum of your forklift truck frayed?
Next to the brake shoes, the brake drum is the second large friction surface in the drum brake. Due to heavy use or even worn brake pads of the brake shoes, damage can occur here as well. Replace brake drums if you notice scoring during maintenance.
