Warning lights that project colored dots and signs onto the ground in front of the vehicle have made a significant contribution to improving safety when using forklifts in recent decades.
The development of bright colored LEDs and sophisticated lens systems plays a major role in this. One of the pioneers in the development is the American manufacturer J.W.Speaker. His 770 model, also known as the blue dot, revolutionized safety lighting in intralogistics. The spotlight is still very popular today.
Other models are now available that are based on this principle of success: versions with red light are easier on the eyes. Warning lights, lines, semicircles or zones can be used to mark areas.
