Whether LPG or diesel fuel is powering you internal combustion engine, today it needs an electric starter to start.
This small electric motor has replaced the hand crank in starting the engine for over 100 years. As soon as the ignition switch releases the current, the pinion engages the gear wheel of the forklift engine. By turning the pinion, the combustion engine is thus "cranked" and starts.
