The VLITEX AUTO fire blanket is the reliable solution for use in conventional fires. Made from robust and durable fibreglass fabric with a silicone coating on both sides, it offers maximum efficiency and safety.

Material VLITEX STANDARD: Glass fibre fabric with a silicone coating on both sides.
Seams: Fire-retardant sewing thread.
Fastening strap & handle: Glass fibre fabric with a silicone coating on both sides.
Temperature resistance: Continuous up to 650 °C, short-term up to over 1,000 °C.
Reusability: Multiple uses – depending on the fire load. WARNING: Fire residues on the blanket are toxic!
Maintenance: No maintenance required.

The VLITEX AUTO fire blanket is the ideal solution for quickly extinguishing conventional fires. It requires no additional extinguishing agents such as water, powder or foam and is suitable for a wide range of applications – particularly where rapid containment is required and hoses or fire engines are difficult to access.
The silicone-coated fibreglass blanket is an environmentally friendly and resource-efficient method of effectively smothering fires. It can withstand temperatures of up to 600 °C continuously and even peaks of 1,000 °C. By cutting off the oxygen supply, the fire is extinguished within a short time.
